As you can see, we have been having fun
in Jessica's World lately!
Lot's of living going on!
We went to the county fair and let Emmy ride the rides and go through the petting zoo.
I know, this might be crazy sounding, but this was the first time Emmy had ever had cotton candy...somehow we skipped this over the years...
On a Saturday, Emmy and I went to the Memphis Zoo with my Grandma, which is Emmy's Great-Grandma.
She made the entire trip in high heels and a skirt,
that's my granny.
She's 72 and kept up better than Jason does. LOL
This was quite possibly the best day I have ever had with my grandma, we ended the day with ice cream, and before we could get across town to the Mississippi River Bridge, Emmy was sound asleep.
The next picture is from yesterday and Emmy and I were just playing with face paint.
Meet "Cookie" our newest member of the family.
And yes that is Jason's hairy armpit...LOL, Cookie is about 8 weeks old and is a female teacup chihuahua.
This was taken at a Lady Antebellum concert, and this is my friend Emily.
Guys I know I haven't been on here at all, and I apologize. Not only has life been busy and full, but my schedule stinks! I work half the night or all night then sleep through the day til Emmy gets out of Preschool, then we do laundry or go visit Grandma Diane, run errands and I rush around to get ready for work and do it again. Weekends are spent spending time with family and sleeping in! I'm also on facebook here and there.
I hope you guys are doing great!
By the way Emmy is going to be a bumblebee for Halloween, plus my bday is right around the corner, so I will be back soon!
Love you,
Jess

I see the resemblance between you and your grandma!
Wow, heels at the fair - she must be tough! Looks like you've been having some fun along with the tough work schedule. Emmy sure loves to smile and pose, doesn't she?? Cute.
I'm glad to see you with an update - what a tiny new little dog.

Hey! Do I hear my name being thrown about??!!
Princess Emmy is getting more beautiful with every post! And how is it that you have kept cotton candy from her so successfully up until now? You need to market that parenting tip! Looks like you all had a fun day and I'm sure everyone slept quite well that night...unless you had to work, that is!
Oh, and what a sweet little puppy! I'll be looking forward to many puppy stories on your blog now...you KNOW how I love dogs!!
Don't stay away too long now, okay? Like Putz said ~ you are well loved, Jess! xo
Emmy is growing up fast
what a neat month
Cookie is so cute
Lovely pictures and a happy post. The days out sound great. Sorry to hear your schedule is a bit manic. There's something about that stage of being a young family- everyone is pulled out and there is so much to do.
I notice Emmy is in a light teeshirt giving the impression you still have warm weather over there. I wish it was like that here- it is perishing. Ice already
Love the pix. thanks for sharing!
So Happy to hear live is going so good for ya'll:o)
Love,Hugs, Blessins',Lib
Loved this post, but it's not good to lie to your loyal readers. We know that is your hairy armpit and not Jason's....LOL.
Hugs!

Now that's what I call having some fun:-) Cotton candy, ice cream, rides, animals...yup, that's the kind of stuff I love as well...well except for the rides! lol I so enjoyed looking at all of your pictures and Emmy looks so happy in all of them. It's so important at her age for you and Jason to spend as much time as you can with her. We do miss you on here but hey, we'd rather you be spending your spare time with your loved ones than on the computer:-) Can't wait to see pictures of Emmy in her Halloween costume. Love ya. xoxo

Love your little dog Cookie!! How sweet!!!
Hugs!!
